View your billing history

You'll learn how to: See every past charge for your Nynch workspace and download invoices for your accounting.

Time: 1 minute.

Prereqs: You're an Owner. Members and Admins can't see billing history.

Steps

  1. Open your avatar (top-right), then click Settings.
  2. Click the Account tab.
  3. Scroll to the Billing section.
  4. Click View invoices (or Manage billing which opens the Stripe-powered billing portal).

  1. You see a chronological list of charges:

    • Invoice number.
    • Date.
    • Amount + currency.
    • Status: Paid / Open / Failed / Refunded.
    • What it covers: subscription period, credit top-ups, add-ons.
  2. Click any invoice to see line items and download a PDF.

Download an invoice

  1. Click the invoice row.
  2. Either the PDF downloads directly, or a detail page opens with a Download PDF button.
  3. Save the file for your accounting records.

Most accounting tools (QuickBooks, Xero, FreeAgent) accept Stripe invoice PDFs directly.

Email receipts automatically

By default, Stripe sends a receipt to the workspace owner's email on every charge. To configure who receives receipts:

  1. Avatar > Settings > Account > Billing > Receipt email.
  2. Update the email address (defaults to the owner's).
  3. Optional: add a CC for your accountant or finance team.

VAT / Tax

For workspaces in jurisdictions with VAT / sales tax:

  • The invoice includes the tax breakdown.
  • Your VAT number can be added in your avatar > Settings > Account > Billing > Tax details so it appears on invoices.
  • The exact rate depends on your country and Nynch's tax registration.

Refunds and disputes

If a charge looks wrong (you were billed for a tier you cancelled, double-charged, etc.):

  1. Find the invoice in the history.
  2. Look for Dispute charge or Request refund on the detail page, or contact support directly.
  3. Support typically responds within 1-2 business days.

Don't initiate chargebacks via your bank without contacting support first; chargebacks often automatically suspend the workspace until resolved.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Invoices section is empty." → Fix: Either the workspace has never been charged (for example it's on a free tier or trial), or you're not signed in as the Owner.
  • Symptom: "Invoice PDF download fails." → Fix: Try a different browser. Some PDF generation paths can be blocked by browser extensions.
  • Symptom: "VAT not appearing on invoices." → Fix: Make sure your VAT number is entered correctly in the Tax details section (via your avatar > Settings > Account > Billing). Some country rules require Nynch to be tax-registered in that country for the breakdown to appear; contact support if your invoice is missing tax detail.
  • Symptom: "I want past invoices in bulk for tax season." → Fix: Most billing portals support a bulk export. Look for Export all or contact support to receive a zip of every PDF.
