You'll learn how to: Fill in missing data on one contact with one click, using a small number of credits.
Time: 30 seconds to trigger. Results return in 1-2 minutes in the background.
Prereqs: The contact has at least one identity (name + email, or LinkedIn URL). With no identifier the enrichment can't find them.
Steps
- Open Contacts and click the contact row to open their profile.
- Find the Enrich action on the profile. Common locations: in the toolbar at the top of the profile, or as an inline action next to empty fields.
- Click Enrich.
- A confirmation shows the credit cost (typically 1 credit for LinkedIn enrichment, 3 for Full Research).
- Confirm.
- The enrichment runs in the background. The profile shows a loading state on the relevant fields.
- When it completes, filled-in fields update inline. Empty fields that couldn't be resolved stay empty.
What gets filled in
Depends on the enrichment option, but typically:
- Job title and headline (from LinkedIn).
- Company name and domain (resolved from email or LinkedIn).
- Location.
- Profile photo (if available).
- LinkedIn URL (if it could be discovered from email).
- ICP fit score (recalculated after enrichment).
Existing non-empty fields are NOT overwritten. Enrichment only fills empty fields.
Why credits
External providers (LinkedIn data, email finders, company-domain resolvers) charge per query. Nynch passes the cost through as 1 to 3 credits per enrich. Credits come with your plan; you can also top up.
Bulk enrichment
If you're enriching more than 5 contacts at a time, use the bulk action instead. Open the Contacts table, tick the rows, bulk toolbar → More → Enrich. See Bulk actions guide.
Re-running enrichment later
You can re-enrich a contact any time. Useful when:
- A few months have passed and their LinkedIn likely has new info.
- You just connected an email account that has signature data Nynch can mine.
- The original enrichment was Quick Scan and you want Full Research now.
Re-running uses fresh credits each time.
If something goes wrong
- Symptom: "Enrich button is greyed out." → Fix: The contact has no identifier. Add at least one: email address OR LinkedIn URL. Then re-try.
- Symptom: "Enrichment completed but no fields changed." → Fix: Either every field was already filled (nothing to fill), or the provider couldn't find the contact. The profile shows a small "enriched at X" timestamp with a "no new data" note when this happens.
- Symptom: "I don't have enough credits." → Fix: The confirmation dialog shows the cost. Either run on fewer contacts (single instead of bulk), or top up credits via Settings → Account.
- Symptom: "Enrichment overwrote a field I had set manually." → Fix: This shouldn't happen. Enrichment is additive on empty fields only. If a non-empty field got overwritten, check the contact's activity timeline for what actually happened; one common cause is a CSV import with Update Existing strategy running on top of the enrichment.
