Check your AI credits balance

You'll learn how to: See how many AI credits you have left and top up before you run out.

What credits pay for

Credits are how Nynch meters AI / external-provider calls that have a per-use cost:

  • Contact enrichment (LinkedIn data, company domain resolution): typically 1 credit per contact.
  • Full Research (LinkedIn + ICP scoring): typically 3 credits per contact.
  • Find email: typically 1 credit per find.
  • Some advanced AI features like Deep Research, multi-step agent runs.

Most everyday AI (Reply Coach drafting, Today briefing, coaching sessions, basic Assist chat) does NOT consume credits. Credits only fire when Nynch is paying an external provider per query.

See your balance

Top-right credits chip

Most pages show a small credits-counter chip in the top-right of the app. It displays your current balance and turns amber / red as you approach zero.

Hover over the chip for a quick breakdown of recent credit spend.

Settings page

  1. Open Settings (gear icon).
  2. Click the Account tab.
  3. Find the Credit Balance card.
  4. The card shows:
    • Current balance.
    • Recent activity (last 10 credit-using actions with date and cost).
    • Plan-included monthly credits and reset date.
    • Top up credits button to purchase more.

Top up

  1. Settings > Account > Credit Balance > Top up credits.
  2. A modal shows credit packs with their prices (e.g. 100 credits for £20, 500 for £80, etc.).
  3. Pick a pack.
  4. Confirm payment via your stored payment method.
  5. The new credits appear in your balance immediately.

Purchased credits don't expire. Plan-included credits typically refresh monthly.

Estimate before you spend

The big credit-spending actions (bulk enrichment, bulk find email, large coaching sessions) show the credit cost in the confirmation dialog before you commit. Always glance at it for big batches.

What happens when you run out

  • For per-action features (Find Email, Enrich): the confirmation dialog warns "Not enough credits". The action doesn't run.
  • For background AI agents that consume credits: the agent pauses until credits are topped up.
  • For everyday AI (Reply Coach, Today briefing): unaffected; these don't use credits.

You won't get blocked from Nynch's core functionality just because you're out of credits. Only credit-metered actions stop.

Share credits across teammates

Credits are workspace-scoped, not per-user. Every teammate's actions draw from the same pool. The Top Up button on the Account tab is owner-only.

If you want per-user spend caps, check Settings > Growth Assistant for agent-level credit limits.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Credits chip shows 0 but I just paid." → Fix: Refresh the page. The chip caches the balance for a few seconds after a top-up.
  • Symptom: "I see large credit spend I don't recognise." → Fix: Open the Credit Balance card and inspect recent activity. Each entry shows who triggered it and what action ran. A bulk enrichment by a teammate is a common cause.
  • Symptom: "Top up button is greyed out." → Fix: You're not an Owner. Ask an owner to top up, or have them grant you billing access.
  • Symptom: "I want to cancel an in-progress credit-consuming job." → Fix: The job's progress view typically has a Cancel button. Already-consumed credits aren't refunded, but pending work stops.
