How It Works in Nynch

Connect Your Gmail Account

Go to Settings, find Email Integration, and click 'Connect Gmail.' Nynch redirects you to Google to approve access to your email. You're giving Nynch read-only permission on your inbox. Google shows you exactly what Nynch can access. Approve, and you're done.

All Email Threads Appear Automatically

Once connected, Nynch pulls your full email history and threads messages by contact. This happens in the background. Depending on how much email you have, it might take a few minutes.

Open Any Contact and See the Thread

Click a contact name. Scroll down to the Email section. You see every message you've sent to them, every message they've sent you, in chronological order. The oldest message appears at the bottom. Recent messages appear at the top.

• Search email conversations directly from a contact record. Use the search box above the email thread to find specific keywords or dates.
• The Superbrain summarizes email threads you haven't read in a while. If you haven't heard from a contact in two weeks, opening their record shows you the key themes from your last exchange.
• Nynch never sends email. Connecting Gmail is read-only. Your outbound email workflow stays in Gmail. Nynch is watching and organizing, not managing.

Q: Does Nynch have access to my entire Gmail, including personal emails?

A: Nynch has read-only access to your inbox and connected labels. You control which labels Nynch can access during setup. We recommend connecting only your work inbox, not your personal email.

Q: What happens if I delete an email from Gmail?

A: Nynch keeps a copy of what was already indexed. If you delete an email and then sync again, Nynch won't pull it again. It's a historical record, not a backup.

Q: Can I see emails that happened before I added the contact to Nynch?

A: Yes. Nynch threads email by matching sender/recipient across your entire Gmail history, regardless of when you added them to your network. The full conversation appears, even if you added them yesterday.
