- Find the contact's rhythm card in Next Steps.
- Click Mark as touched or the equivalent done action.
- Add a short note when that option is available.
The card leaves Next Steps and the cadence restarts from now.
From the contact profile
- Open the contact in People.
- Find the activity or timeline section.
- Click Log activity or Add touch.
- Choose the channel, add a useful note, and save.
What happens after
- The last-touched date updates.
- The next rhythm date is calculated from the new touch.
- Your note appears on the contact timeline.
If the contact immediately reappears, check whether they belong to more than one rhythm with different cadences.
