Settings, tab by tab

You'll learn how to: Open Settings, find the tab you need for any configuration task, and know what each tab does without clicking through all of them.

Time: 8 minutes to read. Use this as a map you come back to.

Prereqs: You have a Nynch account and you've signed in.

Where Settings lives

In the left sidebar, click the gear icon at the bottom-left. The Settings page loads with 11 tabs across the top.

If you've opened Settings before, Nynch remembers which tab you were on via the URL (e.g. /?view=Settings&tab=integrations), so you can bookmark a specific tab.

The 11 tabs

Tab Use it for
Account Subscription, plan, restarting onboarding
Profile Your name, photo, title, company branding, LinkedIn intelligence
Team Invite teammates, manage roles, audit log, admin signals
Skills Your custom AI skills library
Superbrain What Nynch's AI has learned about you and your business
Sales Pick which sales methodology Nynch should use
Notifications Email digest, desktop alerts, quiet hours
Integrations Chrome extension, Claude, Zapier, webhooks, Kondo
Email & Calendar Connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar
Tracking Website tracking pixel, lead-tracking consent
Growth Assistant Configure how the in-app AI assistant behaves

The tabs sit in this exact left-to-right order. Each tab has an icon next to its label.

Account

The first tab, opens by default.

  • Your current plan, billing cycle, and renewal date.
  • Restart onboarding button. Useful if you skipped onboarding the first time and want to walk through the guided setup. Restarting wipes the "I've completed onboarding" flag and routes you back to the wizard.
  • Reset profile data for demo / sandbox accounts.
  • Subscription management for owners (changes seat count, plan, payment method). Members see a read-only view.

Profile

Your individual identity inside Nynch.

  • User profile section: your name, title, photo, bio. This is the identity that signs every AI-drafted email and is shown to teammates.
  • Company branding: your company's name, domain, logo. Used for branded proposals and deal rooms.
  • Relationship Intelligence: connect your LinkedIn profile to unlock AI-powered relationship strength analysis. The button text is "Connect LinkedIn Profile" the first time, "Update LinkedIn Profile" if you've already connected. An "Enabled" badge appears in the section header once it's running.

Team

Owner / admin features. Members see a more limited view.

  • Team settings: invite teammates (sends an email with a join link), manage roles, remove members.
  • Admin signals: surfacing of incomplete onboarding, integration drift, and follow-ups that haven't happened across the team. Helps you spot which teammates need a nudge.
  • Audit log: every owner / admin action with timestamps. Useful for compliance and post-mortems.
  • Workspace sharing policy: who can see which records by default (private to owner, team-visible, public to workspace).

If you're a member, you'll see the team list in read-only form and a request-access flow for elevated roles.

Skills

The library of custom AI skills you've defined.

A "skill" is a named prompt + behaviour Nynch can run on demand: "Draft a UK-style follow-up", "Brief me on this account in 3 bullets", "Find competitors and one differentiator each".

This tab is where you create, edit, and tag skills. Once a skill exists, you (and optionally your team) can invoke it from various places in Nynch.

Superbrain

Superbrain is the in-app AI's long-term memory of your business: who you sell to, what you sell, your authority, your wins and losses, your patterns. This tab is the visible interface to it.

  • What's been learned: the durable facts Nynch's AI has accumulated.
  • Source list: where each learned fact came from (a meeting, an email, a manual entry).
  • Edit or remove individual facts if the AI got something wrong.
  • Manual content input: add specific knowledge you want the AI to know.

Most users never need to touch Superbrain directly; it works in the background. But it's where you go when AI suggestions feel off-target and you want to correct the foundation.

Sales

Pick which sales methodology shapes your pipeline checklists, stakeholder roles, and coaching prompts. Options include:

  • Fields Method (default for many workspaces).
  • Sandler Submarine (pain-based qualification).
  • Whale Hunting (enterprise / 10-20x ACV deals).
  • MEDDIC and others.

Picking a methodology applies methodology-specific stages and qualification checklists to new opportunities. You can change it later, but doing so doesn't retroactively change existing deals.

Notifications

How and when Nynch nudges you.

  • Email digest preferences (daily, weekly, off).
  • Desktop notifications (browser push) for real-time events.
  • In-app notification preferences: which event types trigger an in-app toast.
  • Quiet hours: time windows when Nynch holds back non-urgent notifications.
  • Mobile notifications if you have the mobile companion.

Defaults are conservative. If Nynch feels too quiet, this is where to turn the dial up.

Integrations

The biggest tab. Contains:

  • Chrome Extension card: download the Nynch Chrome extension as a zip and install via Load Unpacked. See Install the Chrome extension.
  • Claude Integration: connect your Claude account to use Claude as the model for AI features.
  • Connected Apps: OAuth-connected apps (Zapier, Make, custom apps).
  • Webhooks: outbound webhooks for specific Nynch events. Useful for piping data into your data warehouse or triggering external automations.
  • Kondo: a data-quality and validation integration. Enables additional contact validation and enrichment paths.

Email & Calendar

Where you connect inbox and calendar accounts. See:

The first email account you connect becomes your primary. Below the main panel, an "Additional Email Sending And Receiving Accounts" section lets you connect more sending identities for multi-account flows.

Tracking

The website tracking pixel and lead-tracking consent.

  • Embed code for your website. Drop it on your site so Nynch can attribute inbound interest to specific contacts.
  • Tracking filters: ignore traffic from internal IPs, employees, certain user-agents, etc.
  • Consent configuration: GDPR / cookie banner integration so visitors can opt out.
  • Recent visits: a live log of recent tracked sessions tied back to contacts.

Most useful if you have a marketing site that's getting traffic and you want Nynch to know when a contact returns.

Growth Assistant

Configure the in-app AI assistant.

  • Tone and style: how the AI writes (formal / conversational / direct).
  • Skills access: which skills the assistant can call.
  • Knowledge sources: which corpora the assistant can ground in.
  • Approval gates: which actions require human approval before the AI takes them.
  • Usage logs: a recent history of assistant interactions for audit.

This is also where you turn AI autopilot up or down for specific behaviours (e.g. "auto-draft Reply Coach suggestions on by default" vs "only when I explicitly ask").

Tips

  • Bookmark the URL, not the tab name. Tabs are URL-driven (?tab=integrations), so a bookmark to a specific tab survives navigation.
  • Owner-only features: most billing and team management is locked to owners. If a button is greyed out for you, your role isn't elevated enough.
  • Search Settings via the assistant: if you can't find a specific setting, ask Assist "where is the option to X?". It knows the tab map.
  • First-time setup priority: Account (verify your plan) → Profile (name + photo + LinkedIn) → Email & Calendar (connect Gmail) → Integrations (install Chrome extension) → Sales (pick methodology) → Notifications (calibrate the dial). Everything else can wait.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Settings page is blank." → Fix: Refresh. If still blank, your session may have expired; sign out and back in.
  • Symptom: "A tab is missing." → Fix: Some tabs are gated by workspace plan or user role. Tracking requires a plan that includes website tracking. Team requires the multi-seat plan. Skills requires the AI tier.
  • Symptom: "I clicked Restart Onboarding and now I'm stuck." → Fix: Onboarding redirects to /onboard. If it loops, clear localStorage's nynch_onboarding_completed key manually, or contact support.
  • Symptom: "Owner controls are greyed out and I AM the owner." → Fix: Workspace context may be misloaded. Refresh once. If still greyed out, check that you're signed in with the email that owns the workspace.
  • Symptom: "I made a change and it didn't save." → Fix: Most setting changes auto-save. Some require an explicit Save button (notifications, tracking config). Look for a Save / Apply button at the bottom of the section.
