You'll learn how to: Find a missing email address for a contact (or several contacts at once) using Nynch's email finder, which uses credits.
Time: 30 seconds to start. Results return in a minute or two.
Prereqs: The contact has a company linked with a domain (e.g. acme.com). Email finders need a domain to query. If the company is missing or has no domain, the find returns no results.
Single contact
- Open the contact's profile (click them in the Contacts table).
- Find the Email field. If empty, the inline "Find email" action appears.
- Click Find Email.
- A small confirmation appears showing the credit cost (typically 1 credit).
- Confirm.
- Wait a moment. If a verified email is found, it auto-fills the field. If not, you'll see a "No verified email found" toast.
The find checks multiple sources, validates the result, and only writes a value when confidence is high. Low-confidence guesses are not written.
Bulk find (many contacts)
- On the Contacts table, tick the checkboxes for the contacts you want to find emails for.
- The bulk-action toolbar slides up from the bottom of the screen.
- Click More (three horizontal dots).
- Click Find Email.
- A dialog shows the total credit cost (count of contacts × per-contact cost).
- Confirm.
- The job runs in the background. Each contact's profile updates as results come back. Watch the bulk-action history for completion.
What "no email found" actually means
The email finder is conservative. "No email found" can mean any of:
- The company's domain doesn't have public email patterns that the finder can guess against.
- The contact's name didn't produce a high-confidence match.
- The contact left that company recently and the email is no longer valid.
If you have a confident guess, manually fill the email field. The finder is one signal, not the only one.
Why credits
Each find uses an external provider that charges per query. Nynch passes the cost through as 1 credit per find (subject to your plan's credit cost configuration). The cost is shown in the confirmation dialog before you commit.
If something goes wrong
- Symptom: "Find Email button is greyed out." → Fix: The contact has no company linked, or the company has no domain. Add either before trying again.
- Symptom: "Bulk Find Email is disabled in the More menu." → Fix: Some of the selected contacts already have emails, OR you've selected more than the plan limit per bulk run. Filter to contacts without emails before running.
- Symptom: "Find returned 'no verified email'." → Fix: The provider couldn't find a confident match. Try LinkedIn enrichment first (which can improve the company domain), then re-run Find Email.
- Symptom: "I don't have enough credits." → Fix: The dialog shows the cost in advance. Either select fewer contacts or top up credits via Settings → Account.
- Symptom: "I want to know what email finder source was used." → Fix: Open the contact's profile after the find completes. The find action records its source in the contact's activity timeline.
