Capture from Sales Navigator

You'll learn how to: Capture leads from LinkedIn Sales Navigator lead pages and saved lists using Nynch extension features.

Time: 5 minutes for a typical list.

Prereqs: The Nynch Chrome extension is installed (see Installing the Chrome extension). You have access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Capture from a Sales Navigator lead page

Sales Navigator lead pages work similarly to regular LinkedIn profiles. The Nynch extension adds the same buttons and side panel.

Step 1: Open a lead in Sales Navigator

  1. In Sales Navigator, search for a lead or open a saved lead.
  2. Click on a lead's name to view their full profile.
  3. The URL will be something like /sales/lead/....

Step 2: Use the same capture flow

  1. The Add to Nynch button appears below the lead's profile photo.
  2. Click it to preview what will be captured.
  3. Click Save to Nynch or Save & Assign to Rhythm.
  4. The lead is imported into your Nynch network.

This flow is identical to capturing from a regular LinkedIn profile.

Capture from Sales Navigator search and lists

When you run a search or view a saved list in Sales Navigator, the extension's side panel switches to Search Results mode, just as it does on regular LinkedIn people search.

Step 1: Open a Sales Navigator search or list

  1. Run a search in Sales Navigator (using filters like title, company, location, etc.).
  2. Or open a saved list from your Sales Navigator library.
  3. The results page shows matching leads.

Step 2: Select and import

  1. The side panel shows Search Results with a list of leads and checkboxes.
  2. Leads already in Nynch are greyed out.
  3. Check the boxes for the leads you want to add.
  4. Optionally pick a rhythm from the Assign to Rhythm dropdown.
  5. Click Import [N] leads.

Step 3: Confirmation

A success toast appears showing how many leads were imported and which rhythm (if any) they were assigned to.

Differences from regular LinkedIn search

  • Lead scoring: Sales Navigator leads may show additional data like intent signals or job change information. The extension captures what it can see but focuses on the core profile fields (name, title, company, location).
  • Lead notes: Sales Navigator lead cards sometimes show your own notes or saved information. Those stay in Sales Navigator; only the lead's public profile is captured in Nynch.
  • List membership: Importing a lead from a Sales Navigator list does not automatically add them to a Nynch bucket corresponding to that list. You must assign them to a Nynch rhythm or bucket separately.

Large list imports

If you have a Sales Navigator list with hundreds of leads, import works in batches:

  1. The visible results on the page can be selected and imported together.
  2. If you scroll to load more leads, you can continue selecting and doing another import batch.
  3. There is no bulk "import entire list" action. The deduplication (greyed-out leads) prevents re-importing, so you can safely run multiple imports as you scroll.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: I don't see the Add to Nynch button on a Sales Navigator lead page. → Fix: Make sure the URL is a lead profile (/sales/lead/...). The button does not appear on other Sales Navigator pages. Also confirm you are logged in to Nynch.
  • Symptom: The Import button shows 0 people selected. → Fix: Make sure at least one lead checkbox is ticked. If leads appear greyed out, they are already in Nynch and skipped on import.
  • Symptom: Some leads from my list were imported but others weren't. → Fix: Leads already in your network are skipped (shown greyed out). To see how many were actually added, check the success toast. If a lead is greyed out but you want to re-sync their data, open them in Nynch and use the profile refresh option.
  • Symptom: Sales Navigator profile info doesn't match what appeared in Nynch. → Fix: The extension captures the linked LinkedIn profile data visible on the lead card. If the Sales Navigator overlay shows different info, that is Sales Navigator's enrichment layer, not the LinkedIn profile itself. Check the lead's Nynch profile to see what was captured.
