Cancel your Nynch subscription

You'll learn how to: Cancel your paid Nynch subscription cleanly. Data stays accessible until the end of the billing period.

Prereqs: You're an Owner.

Before you cancel

A few things to know:

  • You won't lose access immediately. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, you keep full access.
  • Your data isn't deleted on cancel. Workspace and all records stay accessible. After the billing period ends, the workspace drops to a free tier where some features (Campaigns, Deep Research, etc.) are disabled but your data is still there.
  • You can resume any time. Reactivating before the workspace's data retention window expires (typically 90 days post-cancellation) restores everything.

If you just need to reduce cost, consider downgrading to a cheaper plan instead of cancelling. The downgrade flow is in the same Manage subscription panel.

Steps

  1. Open your avatar (top-right), then click Settings.
  2. Click the Account tab.
  3. Scroll to the Subscription section.
  4. Click Manage subscription (this typically opens a Stripe-powered billing portal).
  1. Click Cancel subscription.
  2. The cancellation flow asks:
    • Reason for cancelling (multiple choice + optional free text).
    • Optional save offer: lower-priced plan, pause for a month, discount.
  1. If you decline the save offer, confirm Cancel subscription.
  2. A confirmation appears: "Subscription cancelled. Active until <end-of-period date>."

What happens after the period ends

  • The workspace drops to free tier (or a "post-cancellation" state).
  • Premium features disable. Common gates:
    • Campaigns pause.
    • Deep Research credits stop refilling.
    • AI agent autopilot pauses.
    • Multi-seat features lock to a single seat.
  • All your data stays accessible in read mode.
  • For 90 days, you can reactivate with full data restore.
  • After 90 days, the workspace may be archived. Contact support for restore.

Export your data first

Before the workspace winds down, export anything you'll want later:

Reactivate

  1. Sign in to your workspace.
  2. The post-cancel state shows a banner: Reactivate to restore full access.
  3. Click Reactivate.
  4. Pick a plan.
  5. Confirm payment.

Your data resumes where it was. Active rhythms, paused campaigns, action items, all return.

Reduce instead of cancel

Common reductions that preserve most value at lower cost:

  • Downgrade plan tier: same workspace, fewer features.
  • Reduce seat count: remove unused teammates from your avatar > Settings > Team.
  • Pause billing for a month: some plans support a 30-day pause via the same Manage subscription panel.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Manage subscription button isn't there." → Fix: You're not an Owner. Ask the workspace owner to handle the cancellation.
  • Symptom: "Cancel flow says the workspace can't be cancelled." → Fix: There may be an outstanding invoice or a multi-year contract. Contact support.
  • Symptom: "I cancelled by accident." → Fix: Most billing portals allow you to undo a cancellation before the end of the period. Reopen Manage subscription and click Resume / Reactivate.
  • Symptom: "I want to delete my workspace entirely, not just cancel." → Fix: Cancellation doesn't auto-delete. Contact support after cancellation if you want full data deletion.
