You'll learn how to: Configure the signature that gets appended to every email you send through Nynch.
Time: 2 minutes.
Prereqs: Your email account is connected (see Connect Gmail to Nynch or Outlook).
Why this needs setting
Nynch sends emails through your connected provider (Gmail / Outlook). By default, the signature you set inside Gmail / Outlook may NOT carry over to Nynch's compose flow, because the API endpoint Nynch uses doesn't always honour provider-side signatures. So you set the signature in Nynch separately.
If you've sent a few test emails from Nynch and noticed the signature is missing, this article is the fix.
Steps
- Open Settings (gear icon, bottom-left).
- Click the Email & Calendar tab.
- Find your connected email account in the Email Accounts panel (or the Email & Calendar Integrations panel at the top).
- Click the account row to expand its details, or look for a Signature section / button directly on the account card.
- The signature editor opens. Compose the signature you want:
- Plain text or rich text (depending on workspace plan).
- Insert your name, title, company, links.
- Add a profile photo if the editor supports inline images.
- Save.
The new signature applies to all future emails composed and sent from Nynch.
Recommended signature pattern
Keep it short. The classic 4-line pattern:
Your Name
Your Title at Your Company
Your phone or LinkedIn URL
One-line value prop (optional)
Avoid:
- Long quotes.
- Massive image banners.
- Multiple disclaimers / legal text walls (they bury the actual message).
- Marketing trackers (some email providers flag heavy signatures as spam-shaped).
Multiple sending accounts
If you have multiple connected accounts (e.g. personal Gmail + work Outlook), each has its own signature. Setting one doesn't affect the others. Set the signature per account.
To switch sending accounts when composing, use the From dropdown in the email composer.
Test it
Send yourself a test email from Nynch:
- Open your own contact profile in Nynch.
- Click Send Email.
- Write a quick test message.
- Send.
- Open your inbox. The signature should be there.
If it's missing, see troubleshooting.
If something goes wrong
- Symptom: "Signature section isn't visible on the account card." → Fix: Some workspace plans hide signature config and inherit from your provider instead. If your provider signature isn't carrying through, contact support so they can enable in-Nynch signatures for your workspace.
- Symptom: "Saved signature but emails still don't have it." → Fix:
- Refresh your browser. The composer may have cached the empty-signature state.
- Make sure you're sending from the right account. Each account has its own signature; emails sent from a different account use that account's signature (which may be empty).
- Symptom: "Signature shows in compose but recipients see it broken (images missing)." → Fix: Inline images need to be hosted on a public URL or attached as embeds. Most workspaces strip large inline images to avoid spam classification. Use small images (< 100 KB) or text-only signatures.
- Symptom: "I want a different signature for outreach vs replies." → Fix: Most plans support a single signature per account. For per-thread customisation, edit the signature inline in the composer before sending.
