Share a deal room with a buyer

You'll learn how to: Build a focused page for a buyer, check exactly what it looks like, and publish a secure link without exposing unfinished edits.

Time: About 5 minutes for the first room.

Prereqs: Open a deal on the Revenue board. Add at least one buyer contact if you want attributable links and email sending.

Build the buyer page

  1. Open the deal and select the fourth tab, Deal Room.
  2. In the buyer-page canvas, click Edit page details.
  3. Enter the exact Room name you want the buyer to see. This is manually editable and does not need to match the contact, company, or deal name.
  4. Optionally add a cover image, welcome message, primary action button, participant visibility, and link expiry.
  5. Click Save to draft. A visible saved or failed state confirms whether the change worked.
  6. Add a proposal, file, video, note, next step, milestone, pricing table, or another content block.
  7. New items begin hidden. Turn on Buyer can see only when the item is ready.

The page-shaped canvas is the draft. Use the controls on each section to edit, reorder, hide, or remove content.

Preview and publish

  1. Click Preview to open a read-only version of the current draft. Preview activity is not counted as buyer engagement.
  2. Return to the builder and click Publish room.
  3. After publication, Copy link and Send become available.
  4. If you edit the room later, the status changes to Changes not published. Buyers continue to see the previous published version until you click Publish changes.

This separation is deliberate: saving edits does not silently change a page a buyer is already reviewing.

Send the right link

  • Send emails each added buyer their own attributable link.
  • The copy control beside an individual buyer also creates their attributable link.
  • Copy link in the publication bar copies the general room link. Views through that link can be anonymous.

Anyone who receives a valid link can open it, so treat it like a confidential document link. Buyers do not need a Nynch account. Search engines are instructed not to index room pages, and uploaded files are served through short-lived signed links.

Control access

  • Disable buyer access immediately stops the current links from opening the room.
  • Replace link disables every old general and contact-specific link and creates new ones. You must resend the new links.
  • Link expiry automatically stops access after the date and time you choose.
  • Publishing a disabled room creates fresh links.

What engagement means

Nynch can show room views and supported item interactions. A contact-specific link provides the strongest attribution. A general link may appear as anonymous.

The room does not claim browser fingerprint identity, guaranteed read receipts, exact time spent, or a built-in buyer Q&A thread. Use engagement as a useful signal, not proof that a named person read or understood every item.

If something goes wrong

  • The Publish button is disabled: Add a welcome or make at least one item buyer-visible, then try again.
  • The buyer sees an older version: The latest edits are still in draft. Click Publish changes.
  • The buyer link no longer works: Check whether access is disabled or the link expired. Publish again or replace the link, then resend it.
  • A file will not open: Confirm the item is buyer-visible and publish the latest draft. Signed file links expire, so the buyer may need to refresh the room before opening the file again.
  • A buyer cannot update a next step: Send that person their contact-specific link. General links are read-only for secure room changes.
