You'll learn how to: Create a quick brief for an upcoming meeting with talking points, background, and recent interaction history.
Time: 2 min
Prereqs: Install the Nynch Chrome extension, meeting added to your calendar
The extension scans your calendar (if connected) and shows upcoming meetings with a Get Brief button. The brief pulls recent interactions, company background, and key context to help you prepare.
Generate a brief
- Open the Nynch sidebar on any LinkedIn page or in the extension popup.
- Look for the Upcoming Meetings section (if your calendar is synced).
- Find the meeting you want to prepare for.
- Click Get Brief next to the meeting.
- The extension generates a brief with:
- Topics: Key talking points based on previous interactions
- Background: Company, role, and context from Nynch
- Recent Interactions: Last 3-5 emails, notes, or calls with this person
- Suggested Questions: Open-ended prompts to deepen the conversation
View the full brief
The full brief also appears in the Nynch app:
- Navigate to People and select the contact.
- Look for a Meetings section or tab.
- The full pre-call brief is displayed with expanded talking points and resources.
If something goes wrong
Symptom: No meetings appear in the sidebar. → Fix: Your calendar must be connected to Nynch. In the app, go to Settings > Integrations and connect your calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook). After connecting, it may take up to an hour for upcoming meetings to populate in the extension.
Symptom: Get Brief button is grayed out or won't click. → Fix: The person in the meeting must be saved as a contact in Nynch. If they're not recognized, add them first using Capture a LinkedIn Profile and sync their information.
Symptom: The brief shows outdated or irrelevant talking points. → Fix: The brief is based on your recent interactions with this person. If it's been a long time since your last interaction, you may want to add custom notes in the contact record to provide current context for the next meeting.
