Use the Network Scanner

You'll learn how to: Sweep your existing network to find high-fit contacts you've gone cold on, plus surface fresh outreach opportunities.

Time: 30 seconds to start. Results in 2-10 minutes.

Prereqs: You have ICPs configured (Configure an ICP). Your network has data sources connected (Chrome extension + LinkedIn captures, email, calendar).

What the scanner does

The Network Scanner runs three passes over your existing network:

  1. ICP fit re-score: re-evaluates every contact against your current priority ICPs. Catches people whose data improved (enrichment, new signals) since their last score.
  2. Engagement gap detection: surfaces high-fit contacts you haven't touched in too long (typically 60+ days for top-priority, 90+ for secondary).
  3. Signal aggregation: pulls in any LinkedIn activity, job changes, or company news from the last 30 days for ICP-matching contacts.

The output is a ranked list of "people worth reaching out to, sorted by likely value".

Steps

  1. In the left sidebar, click Network.
  2. Find the Network Scanner card / action. Common location: top-right of the Network view.
  3. Click Run scan.
  4. A progress indicator shows the scan running. Typical scan on 1,000 contacts takes 2-5 minutes.
  5. When complete, results appear as a sortable list:
    • Name + photo + title + company.
    • ICP fit score with the matched ICP labelled.
    • Last touched date.
    • Fresh signals (if any in the last 30 days).
    • Suggested next action.

Action the list

Each row has inline actions:

  • Send email (compose pre-filled with their address).
  • Add to rhythm if they're not already in one.
  • Add to campaign if you have an active sequence for this ICP.
  • Mark actioned / dismiss for rows you've handled or want to ignore.

The fastest pattern: scroll through the top 10-20 results, action each, then close.

Schedule recurring scans

If your plan supports it, the Scanner can run on a schedule:

  1. Open the Scanner config.
  2. Pick Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  3. A scheduled scan produces a digest emailed to you on the chosen cadence.

Useful for staying on top of network drift without manually running.

What it won't find

  • New contacts (people not yet in your Nynch network). For those, use the Prospect Finder.
  • Contacts blocked / blacklisted.
  • Contacts in workspace-shared sharing policy that you don't own (unless you have visibility).

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Network Scanner card isn't there." → Fix: Your plan may not include it. Check Settings > Account.
  • Symptom: "Scan completes but the list is empty." → Fix: Either you have no ICPs (set one in Go To Market), or your network is too small for the scanner to find gaps. Try after adding more contacts.
  • Symptom: "All results have low ICP scores." → Fix: Your network doesn't match your current ICPs well. Either expand the ICPs or focus on Prospect Finder for net-new high-fit contacts.
  • Symptom: "Same contacts keep appearing in scan after scan." → Fix: You haven't actioned them. Either reach out or dismiss; dismissed contacts won't reappear.
