Schedule a meeting from a deal

You'll learn how to: Send a calendar invite to a deal's stakeholder without leaving Nynch.

Time: 1 minute.

Prereqs: Calendar is connected (see Connect Google Calendar). The deal has at least one stakeholder with an email address.

Steps

  1. In the left sidebar, click Revenue.
  2. Click a deal's card to open the Deal Canvas.
  3. Click the Research & People tab.
  4. Find the stakeholder you want to meet with.
  5. On their row, click Schedule Meeting (calendar icon).

Deal Canvas Research and People tab showing stakeholder row

  1. The meeting composer opens with:
    • To pre-filled with the stakeholder's email.
    • From your connected calendar.
    • Subject blank or templated (e.g. "Catch-up: <deal title>").
    • Date / time picker.
    • Duration (15 / 30 / 45 / 60 min).
    • Location / video link field.
    • Description / agenda field.
  2. Fill in subject, date, time, location.
  3. Click Send invite.

The invite goes out via your connected calendar. The stakeholder gets it in their inbox. The event lands on your calendar and shows up on the People.Meetings tab on the date.

Add multiple stakeholders

If you want to invite more than one person:

  • Click + Add attendee on the composer to add others by email.
  • Or open the meeting composer from the deal canvas's main toolbar instead of a single stakeholder row. The composer starts with no pre-filled To address; pick attendees from the deal's committee.

What gets linked back to the deal

After sending:

  • The meeting is linked to the deal on the deal canvas.
  • The meeting is linked to each attendee's contact profile.
  • An entry lands on the deal's activity timeline ("Meeting scheduled with X for Y").
  • The meeting appears on the People.Meetings tab on the date.

Send-time suggestions

If your plan supports send-time optimisation, the composer suggests an optimal time based on the stakeholder's response history. Otherwise pick a time that works for both of you.

Use the AI brief generator for prep

After the meeting is scheduled but before the meeting happens, Nynch can auto-generate a prep brief. On the morning of the meeting, the brief appears on the People.Meetings tab. See Run a Meeting Prep coaching session for the full flow.

If something goes wrong

  • Symptom: "Schedule Meeting action isn't there." → Fix: Calendar isn't connected. Open your avatar menu, click Settings, then click the Email & Calendar tab and connect Google or Outlook Calendar.
  • Symptom: "Composer opens but To is blank." → Fix: The stakeholder has no email on file. Add an email to their contact record and try again.
  • Symptom: "Send invite fails." → Fix: Calendar OAuth token may have expired. Open your avatar menu, click Settings, click the Email & Calendar tab, and check the calendar card status; reconnect if it shows Reconnect Required.
  • Symptom: "Invite sent but doesn't appear on my calendar." → Fix: Refresh the page. The calendar sync runs every few minutes; events you create through Nynch appear on the next sync. To force, see Resync a calendar.
  • Symptom: "I want to send via a specific calendar (e.g. work, not personal)." → Fix: The composer uses your primary connected calendar. To send via another calendar, switch to that calendar app directly or connect the desired calendar as the primary in Nynch.
