# Discovery call agenda

**When to use this skill:** Use this skill before a first proper conversation with a buyer who already knows you, or who arrived through a reason. The job is to understand the situation, not to qualify a lead for a volume machine.

**How to activate:** Paste this skill into Claude with the last emails, the referral context, and the problem you think you own.

---

## Personalization Required

- Who they are and how the conversation started.
- What they have already said, quoted.
- The problem the user thinks they own.
- Time available, usually 30 or 45 minutes.
- What the user will not do on this call: demo theatre, pricing before the situation is clear.

---

## What This Skill Produces

A timed agenda, five to seven questions in their language, a listen-for list, and a close that books a next step or a clean no.

---

## Methodology

### Step 1 : Open with their words

First five minutes: replay the reason for the call in their sentence. Ask what is missing from that replay.

### Step 2 : Situation, not BANT

Ask about the pressure, the decision, the risk if nothing changes, and who else has to live with the work. Do not run budget, authority, need, timing as a checklist. Those facts arrive inside the story if you let the story happen.

### Step 3 : Proof only when asked

Have one travelling story ready. Do not perform three. If they ask how you work, use the offer container, not a capability tour.

### Step 4 : Close cleanly

Two honest exits: a dated next step with a named artefact, or "this is not the situation I take". Both are a win. A vague "let's stay in touch" is a loss.

---

## Hard no

Do not write a closer's script. Do not add "are you the decision maker" as question one. Do not invent discovery questions that ignore the thread you already have.

Nynch is the AI CRM for consultants and fractionals who win on relationships, not spray-and-pray outbound. A meeting brief from memory is the companion skill when the history is longer than one email.
